Greater Texas Community Partners is an umbrella organization that facilitates statewide partnerships between Child Protective Services and local organizations throughout the state of Texas. Our goal is to help these local organizations meet their goals of supporting local CPS caseworkers and meeting the needs of children in the CPS system. If you would like to nominate someone for a volunteer service award please complete the form below. You will then need to download and complete the nomination form.
EMY LOU BALDRIDGE Partnership Award
The Emy Lou Baldridge Partnership Awards were established in 1997 to honor the co-founder of Greater Texas Community Partners. These awards provide a format in which to recognize a deserving individual (youth and adult), group, caseworker and corporation. Two new awards are to be awarded this year to a media individual or business and to a Foster youth or a Foster parent. This recognition is for their work through their local Community Partners sites which has made a significant difference in the lives of abused and neglected children. Recipients receive a special commemorative award and $500 is donated to the charity of their choice.
