Prevent Child Abuse Ornament

Created to heighten awareness of child abuse prevention, this ornament incorporates the national child abuse prevention color--blue. The gold state of Texas is trimmed in a delicate blue line and features a large blue ribbon across the front. The ribbon reads "Prevent Child Abuse" while small children hold hands at the top of the ribbon. This ornament reminds us that the need to prevent abuse of children is important in every part of our state. By working together in small and large communities, we can make a difference in this important issue.

The 2007 Third Edition

Prevent Child Abuse Ornament

This ornament uses a bold contrast of red and gold. A large red heart nestled inside a gold star illustrates the compassion Texans feel for children in need. The signature row of children hand-in-hand runs the length of the ornament. They demonstrate the issues of abused and neglected children in Texas are closest to our hearts.

The 2008 Fourth Edition

Prevent Child Abuse Ornament

The 2008 ornament combines the Texas flag, a large red heart, and children holding hands. The Texas star, heart, and children are trimmed in gold, and the heart features a small blue ribbon to raise awareness of child abuse. This ornament reminds us that every child should have the chance to be the brightest star they can be.

Designed for the agency by 10 year-old Haley at Bethany Elementary School, it reflects our "Compassion in Action for Texas Children" mission.

Each note card is blank inside, measures 4 3/8" x 5 3/4" and comes in packages of 6 with envelopes.
