Texas Panhandle Community Partners has the following programs helping children:

The Rainbow Room
The Rainbow Room is an emergency resource room managed by Texas Panhandle Community Partners. It consists of a store-like setting that allows Child Protective Services workers to go "shopping" for the children and families on their caseloads. The room is stocked with new items such as clothing, shoes, toys and games, diapers, formula, school supplies, hygiene products and cleaning products. Every item in the Rainbow Room is donated or purchased from donations.
The goal of the Rainbow Room of Borger is to initiate, develop, and support a donation room that enables Child Protective Services and Adult Protective Services to make the most positive impact possible on the victims of child abuse and neglect in Borger and the surrounding areas. The Rainbow Room wishes to make any transition to a new environment easier, without sacrificing needs.

Emergency Needs
Texas Panhandle Community Partners also works to meet general emergency needs of children served by Child Protective Services. These emergency needs can include the provision of food or shelter. Children served by CPS would often not have birthday or graduation presents if not for Commmunity Partners, and gift cards are always needed for teenagers. In addition, sponsors are needed for graduating teens, to provide needed household items.
Christmas
Every year, Texas Panhandle Community Partners raises donations to purchase holiday gifts for children in foster care. Day-to-day needs are covered by state and/or federal funding, but no resources are available for Christmas. The Christmas campaign begins in October when wish lists are collected from children and made available to the community.. Volunteers can help shop for gifts, wrap gifts, or help find donors to meet the needs of children's wish lists.
